Regie Gibson: "Join me in supporting Larry Freeman"
“Hi. My name is Regie Gibson, and I am a Lexington resident and parent. And I am supporting Larry Freeman for Lexington School Committee.
“And if you believe
in preserving Lexington’s academic excellence,
and that, because the pandemic’s
duration is unknown, we should plan accordingly
and, most importantly,
learn from our successes and failures
and embrace transparency...
Then join me
in supporting Larry Freeman
for Lexington School Committee.
“And if you believe
that the traditional educational
model doesn’t fully meet the needs
of our students, and that we have an obligation
to provide them with more
than just great programs for sports,
but stress management tools,
social development skills,
and improved mental health support,
Then join me
in supporting Larry Freeman
for Lexington School Committee.
“And if you believe
that taking care of all of Lexington’s students
is our responsibility, and that listening
to what parents and teachers are thinking
is essential to maintaining
a great school system,
and that championing
special education and support services
should be a part of LPS’s mission,
Then join me
in supporting Larry Freeman
for Lexington School Committee.
“And, finally, if you believe
that using a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion
can help in evaluating and improving
our courses of study - and will add a key ingredient
in better preparing LPS graduates
for success in a multicultural
and multiracial global society,
Then join me
in supporting Larry Freeman
for Lexington School Committee.”
